My Opinion on #FiftyShadesOfGrey #BondageTips Article

Hi ladies and gentlemen!

Firstly, I know I’ve been so inconsiderate and not written a blog post in ages! My Apologies! Thanks for your understanding, you are truly great.  I actually have loads of drafts I’d written a while back waiting to be released, but I just got overwhelmed with… life.

Why I randomly re-birthed on my blog again, is actually very random.

I was on Facebook and I came across an article on the well-known book ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’. I initially thought the article was criticizing the book, and I was interested to see why. Unknowingly, the point of view actually went against my original assumption of the article. This resulted in my brain being a kid and telling me to ‘SHOUT OUT YOUR OPINION HOMIE!’. So, guess what? I did just that.

If you have a moment consisting of about 300 seconds, read the article FIRST, if not, then… yh, move on.

This article promotes ‘Bondage tips’ inspired by Fifty Shades of Grey, HOW FUN?! :D:D:D

The article stresses the results the ‘infamous’ book ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ is having on amazing women all across the globe. It goes on further to give warnings, precautions and general pointers to what to look out for when carrying out ‘bondage’ – what the hell is bondage?

But anyway. Let’s divert this journey.I myself haven’t read the book, but judging by the vast amount of feedback I’ve received from those that have, I’m quite disturbed by effects it’s bound to be having on its readers subconscious, YOU LADIES. From what I’ve heard it does a great job of remapping and desensitizing the female sexual moral and value system (making it easier for ‘easy-going’ guys to get what they want ‘easily’), please correct me if I’m wrong.Don’t get me wrong, I myself love some excitement and fun in life. But is it really fun to read a book that is purity-taking, innocence-ridiculing and lust-encouraging?Would you read it with an ear-to-ear grin with all the females in your own family?Pause.

Do you feel a bit weird? Maybe that’s a sign that you know you are ‘what you eat’ and this change in appetite may be just a little bit unhealthy.

Or maybe not?

As a man hoping for a pure and exciting soul-mate who’s training to be sexually loyal (not perfect, but trying), would I put ‘Fifty Shades of Grey Reader, yeah she gotta be, she must she must!” in my ‘a million traits I’d love my wife to have’… Probably not.

I’m sure you wonderful ladies, to me sisters, have a tonne of things you’d prefer us guys not to do, for our own benefit right? I’m doing the ‘vice-versa’ here. I could have easily said nah writing this is long, but something in me said ‘Do it Etim, someone out there will thank you for this’, so I listened to my conscious (most times I don’t tbh).

The question I pose to you, is not ‘is it right to read Fifty Shades of Grey?’, but instead, ‘did you think about the effect of reading an extremely sexual book would have on your values you maintain pridefully?’.

I’ve raised the question, now go talk to your ‘girlies’ and see what they think, or your guy friends… I’m merely surfacing an opinion, go find out if my opinion holds weight or not, your conscious is telling you to right?

‘The women you want to be is the women you are, a second ago you weren’t, you were only half that women, so how can you feel bad?’

God bless.

P.s, please excuse any grammatical mistakes or just sulk, and.. sulk.
